In P.E today we were reinforcing our learning about passing, dribbling and shooting. We also had to work as a team to move the ball across the pitch to be able to shoot and, hopefully, score!

In P.E. we are learning about invasion games. Today we were practising our basketball techniques. We started by dribbling the ball. We needed to make sure we kept our eye on the ball so that we didn’t lose control. Next, we played a game where we had to try and bounce the ball past the person in the middle. They had to try and work out which direction the ball was going to go.

In football this afternoon we focused on passing the ball and dribbling. We would dribble a little bit before passing the ball.

Antonio demonstrated dribbling to the whole class. When he was asked how he knew to do it he told us that he had watched football on the television and watched carefully at how the professional players dribble the ball! Isn’t that a good idea?
