Today was the last day of term and this afternoon we took some time out of our topic work. We headed out to the yard in the sunshine to take part in the sponsored skip to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. All of our pupils really enjoyed themselves & we all thought it was a great fun way to raise both money and awareness. It also linked in with our five pillars of brain health as not only a part of our exercise but also our rest.

Today, in assembly, Class 6 were very happy to find out that we had our second leader in our class! Well done to Jessica who worked very hard and is now a Sports Leader! Remember, not only do you need to fit the criteria, but you must also have outstanding behaviour and attendance too!
What stripe are you working towards for your Leader badge?
LEAD is very important to us in class 6 and as we are learning about poems in literacy we decided to write some poems of our own about LEAD. All the poems were brilliant but Maddie and Lola’s really showed what LEAD means to us!
What does LEAD mean to you? Could you write a extra verse to our poems?
This afternoon we have been making keynotes on lead and how we are leaders in this school. Alia said “Lead means when you help people and stand up for people” and Antonio said it’s about “keeping people happy”.
