Stewed pears

This afternoon we made stewed pears! This is something that they would have eaten during the stone age. We had to peel the pears, chop them up and then add water. It was very tasty!

What cooking have you been doing?

Amazing axe

IMG_1785.JPG
I made a stone axe at home. First we cut the middle of the branch with a sharp blade in the middle. We stripped the bark off to make it comfortable to hold. Then I slid it In and put some string around it. We painted the string green because it makes it look camouflage. I think Stone Age people would use the axe to kill animals for food and to chop trees to make a shelter or fire. I also made a scrapbook about the Stone Age.

We’ve now added the this is the beef when it is open and there was 3000g, now this is it when it is not open. It is Derek’s meat and it is in paddy Ryan’s butchers, we were flouring the beef in the classroom.

So today we were making beef stew. We peeled and also chopped the vegetables. Then put them into the pan. Next we got the stock and added water. Then we got the beef. So then we put the beef in a tray that had seasoning with flour and then we fried it and added it to the pot, so we could have a meal tomorrow.
